DAY 03 – CHOPTA VALLEY – GURUDONGMAR LAKE EXCURSION → HOTEL BOOKED IN LACHUNG
DAY 04 – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION – HOTEL BOOKED IN GANGTOK
DAY 05 – TSOMGO LAKE TOUR → BABA MANDIR AND NATHULA PASS [INDO – CHINA BORDER]
DAY 06 – DROP AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP RAILWAY STATION

Day 1
ARRIVE AT BAGDOGRA - GANGTOK

Pick-up at Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station – Gangtok (5,500 ft), (128 km / 5 hrs).

Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport /NJP railway station & transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
GANGTOK - ENROUTE SIGHTSEEING – LACHEN

Morning drive to Lachen (9,400 ft, 124 km). On the way visit Twin waterfalls, Singhik view point.

Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at Hotel in the late afternoon.

Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 3
CHOPTA VALLEY & GURUDONGMAR LAKE EXCURSION:

Morning drive to Thangu (13,500 ft, 31Kms from Lachen).

Visit Chopta Valley (13,200 ft) it is rich in alpine vegetation.

Drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,800ft) only Indian National is allowed.

Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim.

Remember the altitude here may cause breathing problem.

Back to hotel & leave for Lachung (Alt 8,610 ft, 60 km).

Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4
YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION – GANGTOK

Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (Alt 11,800 ft), 24 km an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim.

Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot spring and drive back to Lachung for Lunch.

Optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (Alt 15,000 ft, 23 km from Yumthang) for Indian tourists only (at extra cost 3000/- per vehicle on prior notice).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 5
TSOMGO LAKE TOUR – NATHULA PASS TOUR

After heavy breakfast start a tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft, 34 km).

Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can find snowfall & Yak Riding.

Visit to legendary Baba Mandir & Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost of Rs. 3,000/- per vehicle for permit (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6
DEPARTURE TO HOMETOWN

Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule.

Tour Ends.

  • Transfers and Sightseeing will be provided by appropriate AC Vehicles including toll, taxes and bata charges from point to point destinations.

  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances etc. (Such cost is to be borne by the client and directly payable on the spot).
