DAY 08 – DROP AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP RAILWAY STATION

Day 1
ARRIVE AT BAGDOGRA - GANGTOK

Pick-up at Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station – Gangtok (5,500 ft), (128 km / 5 hrs).

Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport /NJP railway station & transfer to Gangtok.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
TSOMGO LAKE TOUR – NATHULA PASS TOUR

After heavy breakfast start a tour to Tsomgo Lake(12,400 ft, 34 km).

Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can find snowfall & Yak Riding.

Visit to legendary Baba Mandir & Nathula passdepends upon permit availability on additional cost of Rs. 3,000/- per vehicle for permit (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3
GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning go for full day sightseeing covering Rumtek monastery, Bhajhakri waterfalls, Ropeway, Do-Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Hand loom (Sunday Closed) & Flower Show (Orchid).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4
GANGTOK – PELLING

Transfer to Pelling (7,200 ft, 115 km). Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 5
PELLING CITY TOUR

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri Lake.

Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins.

Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 6
PELLING – DARJEELING

Drive towards Darjeeling (7,200 ft, 115 km).

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 7
TIGER HILLS AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Center (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).

Evening free for shopping and personal activities.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 8
DEPARTURE TO HOMETOWN

Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule. Tour Ends.

  • Transfers and Sightseeing will be provided by appropriate AC Vehicles including toll, taxes and bata charges from point to point destinations.
