DAY 10 – DROP AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP RAILWAY STATION

Day 1
ARRIVE AT BAGDOGRA - GANGTOK

Pick-up at Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station – Gangtok (5,500 ft), (128 km / 5 hrs).

Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport /NJP railway station & transfer to Gangtok.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2
GANGTOK – ENROUTE SIGHTSEEING – LACHUNG

Morning drive to Lachung (Alt 8,610 ft, 118 km) in North Sikkim.

On the way visit Singhik View Point, Naga Waterfalls, Bhim Nala waterfalls, Twin waterfalls.

Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at Hotel in the late afternoon.

Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 3
YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION – GANGTOK

Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (Alt 11,800 ft), 24 km an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim.

Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot spring and drive back to Lachung for Lunch.

Optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (Alt 15,000 ft, 23 km from Yumthang) for Indian tourists only (at extra cost Rs.3000 on prior notice).

After lunch proceed towards hotel.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4
GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning go for sightseeing covering Rumtek monastery, Bhanjhakri waterfalls, Ropeway, Do-Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Hand loom (Sunday Closed) & Flower Show (Orchid).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 5
TSOMGO LAKE TOUR – NATHULA PASS TOUR

After heavy breakfast start a tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft, 34 km).

Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep.

Here you can find snowfall & Yak Riding.

Visit to legendary Baba Mandir& Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost of Rs. 3,000/- per vehicle for permit (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed).

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6
GANGTOK - PELLING

Transfer to Pelling (7,200 ft, 115 km).

Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7
PELLING CITY TOUR

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri Lake.

Back to hotel for lunch.

After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins.

Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 8
PELLING – DARJEELING

Drive towards Darjeeling (7,200 ft, 115 km).

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 9
TIGER HILLS AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Center (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).

Evening free for shopping and personal activities.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 10
DEPARTURE TO HOMETOWN

Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule. Tour Ends.
